On Tuesday, Dec. 1, Project Pericles will screen the Academy Award-nominated film “Yesterday” in observance of International AIDS Awareness Day. The 96-minute film, to be shown at 7 p.m. in Spiro 5, will be accompanied by beverages and snacks. The film by writer/director Darrell Roodt highlights the AIDS epidemic in South Africa by focusing on its affects upon one family.
Iranian scholar Mahmoud Sadri, a professor of sociology at Texas Woman’s University, will return to Wagner College for a lecture on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Spiro Hall, Rm. 4. His lecture is titled, "Clash Within Civilizations: A Tale of Two Islams in Modern Iran." Sadri first visited Grymes Hill in the fall of 2006.

Wagner College held its annual Faculty Award Dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 17 in the Faculty Dining Room.
In addition to the awards for outstanding teaching, scholarship, service, teaching with technology and adjunct faculty, the Diversity Action Council gave its annual faculty award.
