FOX 5’s ROSANNA SCOTTO TO SPEAK AT DAVINCI SOCIETY AWARDS DINNER

Staten Island, New York – Rosanna Scotto, co-anchor of WNYW-TV “FOX 5 News at 5pm” and “FOX 5 News at 10pm,” will be the guest speaker at Wagner College’s DaVinci Society 3rd annual awards dinner on Thursday, September 28 at 6:00 p.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn, Bloomfield. An honoree at last year’s awards dinner, Eleanor Conforti is the chairperson of the event. Eleanor is a retired teacher with the City Department of Education and was a longtime chairperson of the former Community School Board 31.

THE BANALITY OF GOOD:  Rescuers in Italy at the Time of Persecution

Staten Island, NY - Dr. Seymour P. Lachman, Distinguished Professor in Residence, Wagner College, will be hosting a program entitled, “The Banality of Good:  Rescuers in Italy at the Time of Persecution,” on Tuesday, October 17, 2006, 7:00pm at The Center for Jewish History, 15 West 16th Street, NYC. This event is co-sponsored by Wagner College, The Center for Jewish History, and The Consulate General of Italy. There will be a reception prior to the program at 6:00pm.
