“Dorothy Day: Don’t Call me a Saint”, filmmaker Claudia Larson (Part of Wagner College’s International War & Peace Film Series)
This film chronicles Day’s lasting effect on the world, particularly her support for the poor, and ponders how Day (who lived an unconventional life and died in 1980) now finds herself on the path to sainthood, already bestowed by the Vatican with the title "Servant of God."

“Iraq in Fragments”, filmmaker James Longley (Part of Wagner College’s International War & Peace Film Series)
Iraq in Fragments illuminates post-war Iraq in three acts, building a vivid picture of a country pulled in different directions by religion and ethnicity. The film explores the lives of ordinary Iraqis: people whose thoughts, beliefs, aspirations, and concerns are at once personal and illustrative of larger issues in Iraq today.

“Sophie Scholl: The Final Days”, filmmaker Marc Rothemund (Part of Wagner College’s International War & Peace Film Series)
In 1943, as Hitler continues to wage war across Europe, a group of college students mount an underground resistance movement in Munich called the White Rose. Sophie Scholl is captured during a dangerous mission to distribute pamphlets on campus with her brother Hans. Cross-examined by the Gestapo, Scholl delivers a passionate call to freedom and personal responsibility that is both haunting and timeless.
David McReynolds, active in The War Resisters League for 40 years, will speak about non-violent resistance.
