Sen. Hillary Clinton to speak Saturday, 12 noon

Doors to the Spiro Sports Center will open at 12 o’clock noon this Saturday, Sept. 6 -- not 12:30 p.m., as previously announced -- for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s appearance at Councilman Michael McMahon’s congressional campaign event. The program itself is expected to begin around 12:30 p.m. The public -- including the entire campus community -- is encouraged to attend.

Note that, no matter how hard it is raining on Saturday, the Spiro Center doors will not open until 12 o’clock.

The Spiro Sports Center will remain closed on Saturday for all other activities until 3 p.m.

The campus community should also be aware that a television program, “Law & Order SVU,” will be filming on campus Saturday. They will be working in Guild Hall.
