Thursday, Oct. 9, 4:30 p.m., Union 201 — Book dinner discussion of “The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao,” by Junot Diaz, which won this year’s Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. The discussion will be facilitated by Wagner College professors Marilyn Kiss and Margarita Sanchez. The first 25 Wagner College community members to contact spertuz@wagner.edu via e-mail can have a copy of the book and will join our dinner discussion.
Thursday, Oct. 16, noon, Union Dining Hall — Fiesta! Latin dance performance and many other fun surprises! Also, enjoy Latin cuisine in the dining hall on Thursdays (Sept. 25, Oct. 2, Oct. 9 and Oct. 16) while we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
