Author presents 'Mob 101' lecture Oct. 6

On Monday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m., Wagner College will host a presentation by author Jerry Capeci, entitled “Mob 101: The Compleat Idiot’s Guide to the Mafia.” The presentation will be given in Spiro Hall, Room 4. The program is free, and the public is invited.

Jerry Capeci, a product of the mean streets of Brooklyn, has covered organized crime for more than three decades as a reporter, columnist, and author. He is a co-author of “Mob Star, Murder Machine, and Gotti: Rise and Fall.” For 15 years, Capeci has written a popular weekly column, “Gang Land,” first for the New York Daily News and now for the New York Sun.
