If you ever want to know the status of campus facilities, class schedules or activities when winter weather hits, there are several ways you can find out:
The easiest and most direct is the SNOW LINE on the college Web site, www.wagner.edu. Just scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the large snowflake, which will take you to a page that will tell you the current status of the campus — either open or closed.
A recorded message on Wagner College’s telephone information number, 718-390-3400, will announce campus closings.
The entire campus community can check their e-mail for a message about delays and closings. If you’re off-campus, log on to Mailport.
Staff and faculty can check their voicemail for messages.
If you have lost either electrical power or your Internet connection, if Mailport will not open, or if the college Web site or campus telephone system are down, you can use a battery-powered radio or television to check any of the three broadcast outlets we use for winter-weather announcements:
- WINS Radio (1110 AM)
- WCBS Radio (880 AM)
- WNBC Television (Channel 4)
