Online videos available of three campus lectures

You can now view online videos of three lectures offered over the past year on the Wagner College campus:

LINK HERE. MacArthur "genius" scholar Danielle S. Allen spoke at the college on Nov. 5, 2008. Her lecture was entitled, "Stranger, Neighbor, Citizen, Friend: What is Citizenship in the 21st Century?"

LINK HERE. On Sept. 18, 2008, Wagner College's Hugh L. Carey Center for Government Reform held a panel discussion on media coverage of state government. Led by Gene Maeroff, former national education columnist for the New York Times, the panel included:

  • Bill Hammond, editorial page writer and state government columnist for the New York Daily News;
  • Mark Hanley, editorial page editor for the Staten Island Advance, and
  • Wayne Barrett, a senior news editor who oversees political coverage for the Village Voice.
