Treble Choir and Chamber Singers Fall Concert

Wagner College Treble Concert Choir and Chamber Singers offer a concert of varied repertoire which pays tribute to both the Lutheran Musical Heritage and the Italian Musical Heritage. The concert will include works from the former by Johann Sebastian Bach, Heinrich Schütz, Hans Leo Hassler, Johann Walther and Felix Mendelssohn, and from the latter, by Giuseppe Verdi, Gaetano Donizetti, Luca Marenzio and others. The Chamber Singers will preview the Villancicos rebeldes of Max Lifchitz which they will sing later this month on a special Retrospective Concert of the composer's works in Manhattan. The program will also include part songs by Charles Wood and Gustav Holst, music from the American Musical Theater and spirituals.
