The Fall 2011 Museum Studies Class at Wagner College is happy to present a new show in the Horrmann Library's Spotlight Gallery, entitled "Main Hall and Historic Architectural Preservation: What is Going on Behind that Scaffolding?"
The Wagner community has pulled together around this large restoration project, and at times has had stressful issues to deal with associated with the temporary relocation of classes, faculty offices and the college's Main Stage theater. However, as this exhibit highlights, the work on Main Hall is not only of great benefit for Wagner, but fits in with an important national trend to preserve sites of historical importance.
Please join the class in the Spotlight Gallery as they open the show on Tuesday, Dec. 13 from 2 to 3 p.m. The students look forward to discussing their research projects around the topic of Architectural Preservation and answering questions about Main Hall. The exhibit will run through Jan. 30.
