The Dining Hall, located in the Wagner Union, offers a variety of meal plans and a Flexi-cash program. Three meal plans including either 10, 15 or 19 meals each week (breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekdays, and brunch and dinner on weekends) are available. A choice of hot entrees (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), and sandwich, soup, pasta, pizza and salad bars provides ample choices at every meal. In addition to outdoor grilling and picnic dinners with entertainment, dinners celebrating Halloween, Thanksgiving, December holidays and Black History Month are some of the many special events held each year. The planning for these special events is handled through the Food Service Advisory Committee, a committee comprised of students from each class, faculty, staff and administration.
Students subscribing to a meal plan also receive “Flexi-Cash”, a declining balance credit card system, which can be applied towards purchases at the Hawk’s Nest. You will receive an initial amount of money on the Flexi system, with the option of adding more money throughout the semester as your balance declines. For more information, Dining Services is located in the Wagner Union and can be reached at 718-390-3246.
Commuting students have the option of three block meal plans: Block 25, 50, or 75. Block meal plans are used throughout the semester in any manner. No restrictions allow for endless flexibility. These meals can be used in our "all you care to eat" dining hall or as a transfer option in the Hawk's Nest.
If you require a special meal plan or diet, special arrangements can be made through the Dining Services office. We currently offer special services to students with externships off campus, students who require kosher meals and students with medical restrictions.
| Those students in a rush or unable to make a meal hour can purchase a variety of breakfast foods, sandwiches (hot and cold), soup, pizza, salads, beverages and other snack foods at the Hawk’s Nest, the College’s snack bar. |
