Graduation Requirements |
I. General Graduation Requirements
No one unit may satisfy more than two requirements. Foundation units must be completed by the end of the sophomore year.
A. Foundations (3-5 units)

| Writing |
2 units, one in the first year RFT and one in a Writing Intensive course |
| Math |
1 unit as designated by proficiency level |
| Speech |
1 unit or proficiency by assessment |
| Computer |
1 unit or proficiency by assessment |
B. Intercultural Understanding
|
| 2 units selected from an approved list of courses that provide International perspectives: 1 unit, International Perspective course and 1 unit American Diversity course |
C. Reflective Tutorials
|
| 2 are required: 1 in First Year Learning Community and 1 in Senior Year Learning Community |
D. Learning Communities
|
| 3 are required for graduation; 1 in the first year, another in the sophomore or junior year, and 1 in the senior year (which must be in the major) |
E. Disciplinary Perspectives (10 units)
|
| Humanities |
3 units chosen from at least 2 subject areas; 1 must be in history |
| Social Sciences |
3 units in at least 2 disciplines |
| Sciences |
2 units in at least 2 disciplines including 1 in a laboratory science |
| The Arts |
2 units in 2 disciplines |
II. Study in Depth: The Major (typically 12-18 units)

| Students must complete a major to be selected no later than the end of the sophomore year. |
III. Electives

| Free electives are drawn from the Wagner College Undergraduate Catalogue in consultation with the student's faculty advisor. |

|
